Reshma Audho (CANAL GYAL)

🎶 Reshma Audho has been immersed in music and Indo-Caribbean culture since the age of 8, captivating audiences with her voice and harmonium at countless events & gatherings. For over a decade, she practiced the arts - singing, playing harmonium, practicing yoga, learning Hindi, and exploring spirituality at a young age. 

After a long 15-year hiatus, Reshma has returned with renewed energy and purpose, creating heartfelt spaces for community connection through music and shared experience. 

For the past three years, she’s been the driving force behind intimate singing nights hosted in her home, where Bollywood melodies, bhajans, and chutney rhythms bring people together for the sole purpose of connection and joy. 
 

Though she was born and raised in Canada, Reshma’s heart beats for Guyana and our roots, where her cultural ideals and love for community were nurtured. Her artistry is a tribute to that heritage - rich, vibrant, and deeply personal.
 

When she's not performing, Reshma expresses her creativity through photography, cooking, dancing, and nurturing her garden—each a reflection of her vibrant spirit and renewed love for life.

Rohansham Deonarain

Rohansham Gopaul Deonarain has been learning music since 2004, and maintained consistency in training throughout the Royal Conservatory of Music for piano and various other instruments. Starting out a foundation for cultural taste in music growing up in mandir and many fundraising shows helped in the growth of tabla, dholak, harmonium and vocal performance. Teaching piano and keyboard theory for cherished years in 2011-2016, he has influenced 158 students over his time teaching for the Ontario Conservatory of Music. Currently teaching from home, Rohan strives to continue inspiring youth with music and passion for arts.
